Who are we?
A group of 18 singers, originally known as Consort when the group was formed over 25 years ago but now known as The Bridgewater Singers, we meet for approx. 40 weeks of the year on a Monday evening in Stockton Heath Warrington (WA4 6LP) between 7:45 & 9:15.
Our musical choices range from The Renaissance (Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, Palestrina and Monteverdi) through to 20th and 21st century composers incl. Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen.
We are looking to increase our overall numbers in all four sections of our SATB singers whilst still retaining the unique atmosphere that comes with having a small group of singers.
We are looking for someone who
- Enjoys making music
- Has some ability to read the appropriate line of music
- Is flexible and open minded in what they sing
- Will be committed to the group’s aims and aspirations as expressed by the members and as set out in the constitution
- Is able to devote time outside Monday rehearsals to familiarising themselves with their part.

If you would like to discuss any matters further or simply express your interest, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org You would be most welcome to visit us in rehearsal to get a flavour of what we are about.
If you then feel Bridgewater Singers could be the right place for you, we would like to arrange for you to sing a short piece of your own choosing for the Musical Director and a maximum of 2 other members of the Bridgewater Singers. An accompanist would be provided.
We will also provide in advance a piece of music typical of our repertoire, give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with it and ask you to sing in the whole group.
